2010 Heavy Bag Tournament

This year's tournament is being held in Battle Mountain, Nevada. January 30, 2010 is the magic day, make your reservations at the Owl Club. Tournament director Coby Rowe has established a $50 entry fee. As always, rules will be posted prior to the event, time limits will apply and the the heaviest bag after 4 pm on Saturday will be crowned champion. 2009 Heavy Bag Tournament

January 17th, 2009 in Winnemucca, NV. After taking a 1 year hiatus, the tournament is alive and well! As with prior years, the rules will be the same. The entrant with the heaviest 6 bird’s total weight will wear the revered “blue jacket” for a night. The jacket has been seen in various internet photos across the globe, but rest assured….we had it dry cleaned (thank you John Burrows…for both sides of that comment). Tournament fees and the weigh-in time and location have yet to be determined. The tournament should have a smaller turnout (15-20) as we have limited invitations this year. 2008 One Fly T-Lift in Use

The included picture shows the T-Lift lifting a Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) vehicle. We donated the item to NDOW. Fishing was good on opening morning of the tournamnet. Many 18+ inch tiger trout and rainbows were hooked and released durning tournament hours. Until next year.......

2008 One Fly Tournament

The 2008 Nevada One Fly Tournament is scheduled for June 14th at Knott Creek Reservoir! Knott Creek Res. is located in Northern Nevada near Denio. Fishing reports have indicated large rainbows pulled from the inlet. This is the 4th time the tournament has been held at this location. The tournament format typically requires entrants to submit a fly prior to fishing and use a duplicate fly for the entire tournament. Entrants can fish until the fly is "broken off" and scoring fish is usually determined prior to the start. T-Lift is donating a prize as well as many other vendors like Western Nevada Supply and Glacier Glove. For more information, email bryce.bland@pertrac.com.

Utah's ISE (International Sportsman's Expo)

The International Sportsman's Exposition (ISE) in Salt Lake City is a combination of a fishing show, fly fishing show, hunting show and travel show all under one roof. Now in its tenth year, this is Utah's sportsman show. We attended and had a booth this year where we introduced our product to many sporting enthusiasts.

We gave away a T-Lift in a drawing. Congratulations to Mr. Campbell from Sandy, Utah!
